Zoe-perry

Perry was born the 25th of July 1968 in Chicago, Illinois to Laurie Metcalf Perry and Jeff Perry. The role of Jackie Harris was played by her mom in both of the two episodes she appeared on Roseanne. But her parents would not allow her to act until she was an adult due to the negative effects that stress could be able to have on their daughter. Perry states that she did not want to perform in high school but decided to take up playing as a way to make friends at Northwestern University when she switched to the university from Boston University. Perry moved to New York, where she landed small roles in series like Law & Order: Criminal Intent. Home sickiness led Perry her back home California, where theater jobs were readily available. In 2013 she performed in The Other Place on Broadway along with her mother. In 2015, she starred together with Kevin McKidd alongside her mother in Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer Prizewinning drama Anna Christie. It is part of the Odyssey Theatre Ensemble is located in West Los Angeles. Perry played a role in 9 episodes of The Family, an ABC crime thriller The Family in 2016. Her father played her character in the ABC drama Scandal. The character she played was a younger Mary Cooper (Sheldon Cooper's mother) in Young Sheldon. This spin-off episode that was part of the CBS show The Big Bang Theory was another portrayal by her younger mother. The character was assigned an audition to the actress, even though she was a cousin to the role.
