Ina-Garten
Ina Gardner is the author of many well-known American cookbooks on cooking. Ina also hosts Barefoot Contessa on Food Network. The show has been running since 2002. Ina began working for the White House as a writer of nuclear energy policy documents as well as the budget. While she initially found the work intellectually stimulating she eventually stopped her interest. She then bought the Barefoot Contessa a small speciality food store. It was a huge success over the course of 18 years until she made the decision to close it. Then she began writing her first cookbook. There were many more cookbooks as well as magazine columnists that followed. Meanwhile, her Food Network television show too made its debut and became an instant hit. The range of products includes cooking equipment, to food items as well as storage containers. Ina did not go to an institution for cooking or did she work at a restaurant. Ina is a self-taught cook. Her name is associated with her casual approach to making food and hosting. The most well-known recipes she has created are Skillet-Roasted lemon chicken, Beatty's Chocolate Cake Mac & Cheese Beef Bouguignon and balsamic-roasted Brussels Sprouts & Lemon Bars.
