Pickler was born Kellie dawn Pickler the 28th of June, 1986. The young woman had a troubled childhood. Her mother divorced her when she was just two in order to get out of an abusive relationship. In 1995, she re-entered Pickler's world in 1995 when she was given custody of her. The situation didn't work out as was planned. Pickler was then 12 years old and was returned to her parents by court. They took care of her till she was old enough to be an adult. Pickler was too busy by motherhood due to the absence of both her parents. She admitted that she didn't be able to make time for school and began learning how to be a homemaker as a child. Pickler was a member of her high school's and middle school's cheerleading squad. Pickler graduated in 2004 from North Stanly High School. Pickler was also a contestant in a beauty pageant.
