Annie Mist Thorisdottir, a CrossFit professional athlete from Reykjavik Iceland. She also trains and coaches in Crossfit Reykjavik, where she is the co-owner. Annie has the distinction of being only one female who has ever won at the CrossFit Games two times. Her second place was both in 2010, and in 2014. Annie Thorisdottir - an Icelander weightlifter, CrossFit competitor and media star is one of the CrossFit athlete from Iceland. She won CrossFit Games 2011 and 2012 twice, becoming the first female winner. She is also known as having been the winner of the Dubai Fitness Competition in both the year 2013 as well as 2017. Annie was raised in Iceland's Reykjavik area with her siblings and parents. In her early years she was a huge enthusiast of fitness and sports. She was a participant in numerous school competitions and was awarded a variety of medals. In 2009, she was the first participant in the CrossFit games at California where she was able to perform very well during the initial competitions. Annie Thorisdottir's age is 31 years old (as of 2021). Her height is 5'7" and she weighs approximately about 67kg. Annie began her CrossFit adventure in California in 2009. In the initial games she performed very well and placed in top 10 among 70. However, she was unable to get any results from the event and finished the tournament with a score of eleven. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. Under the coaching of Jami Tikkanen, Annie finished 2nd at the CrossFit Games and was awarded an award of Silver that year. As a result of her impressive performances, she was able to win the CrossFit Games title and become the first female CrossFit Games winner. Annie's exceptional performance in 2012 brought her to a second CrossFit Games victory. This was her second time that she won consecutively. She also won a gold medal. In 2021, she won with a bronze. Annie is currently a trainer as well as a trainer for Crossfit Reykjavik, which she created. Annie is getting recognition for her athletic skills, has been featured in commercials for sports products such as Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Nuun Hydration's sidekick Yerbae Renewal Periodization Transparent Labs, among others.
